📋 Description
• Act as a true subject matter expert for Japan • Manage existing relationships with key stakeholders within Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering • Process full end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance • Ensure full data integrity and quality • Handle accounting and reconciliations • Focus on KPIs and SLAs • Implement and improve processes • Mentor and support payroll specialists • Back up regional managers during absences • Report to the Manager, Global Payroll Operations
🎯 Requirements
• Payroll management or equivalent experience • Knowledge of payroll best practices • Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets • Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment • Productivity-focused approach with continuous process improvement • Ability to work largely asynchronously • Fluent written and spoken English • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency
