📋 Description

• Produce high-quality funding applications for charitable and not-for-profit organisations • Write clear, compelling and well-structured grant applications • Work from client information, project documentation and funder requirements • Edit and proofread draft applications • Ensure submissions address funder questions and eligibility criteria • Prepare and submit completed applications through online funding portals • Manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously • Research and identify relevant grants and funding programmes • Review funding opportunities against eligibility and suitability criteria • Match appropriate opportunities with organisations and projects • Maintain an ongoing pipeline of potential funding opportunities • Use AI tools to support funding research, funder and programme research, opportunity matching, drafting, editing, quality assurance, and workflow improvements • Contribute ideas to make research and opportunity-matching processes more efficient • Research, write, review and submit accurate, high-quality applications on time • Contribute to improving systems and processes across the function

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent professional writing, editing and proofreading skills • Ideally have experience in grant writing, bid writing, proposal writing, fundraising or a closely related field • Confident research skills, including quickly assessing and interpreting funding opportunities • Ability to understand detailed guidelines and translate complex information into clear, persuasive written applications • Exceptional attention to detail • Highly organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines • Ability to work effectively and independently in a fully remote environment • Confidence learning and working with new technology • Experience using AI tools or willingness to develop practical AI skills • Interest in improving processes and finding more efficient ways of working • Ability to take ownership and consistently deliver to a high standard
