📋 Description
• Design automatic sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use developments. • Perform hydraulic calculations to determine system requirements and performance. • Calculate and size sprinkler pipework and associated components. • Produce detailed sprinkler layouts and design drawings using AutoCAD. • Develop equipment schedules, design documentation, and technical submissions. • Review architectural and building plans to develop effective sprinkler solutions. • Coordinate designs with project teams and other building services disciplines. • Assist with material take-offs and equipment specifications. • Support project delivery from design through to installation and commissioning. • Provide technical support to project teams and clients as required.
🎯 Requirements
• Previous experience in sprinkler system design. • Strong understanding of hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing principles. • Experience designing wet, dry, pre-action, or deluge sprinkler systems. • Proficiency in AutoCAD. • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. • Strong technical and analytical skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Ability to work independently within a remote team environment. • Strong communication and organisational skills.
