📋 Description

• Chase overdue invoices by email and phone in a professional, firm tone • Agree payment plans and log every promise to pay • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes with sales and finance • Update the ageing report weekly and flag high-risk accounts • Allocate incoming payments accurately in the accounting system • Own the collection of overdue invoices and help keep the client's cash flowing

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in credit control or collections, with examples of reducing overdue balances • Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage • Confident, polite phone and email manner • A reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace • Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST) • Experience with UK VAT and payment terms (nice to have) • Familiarity with Dext or GoCardless (nice to have) • Experience with ageing reports in Excel (nice to have)
