📋 Description

• Reconcile bank, credit card and supplier statements to the ledger • Investigate and clear unmatched items and differences • Post journals and correcting entries accurately • Maintain a clean reconciliation schedule for month-end • Flag recurring discrepancies to the finance lead • Work independently as part of a supportive remote South African team • Participate in regular check-ins and follow clear priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Experience reconciling bank or supplier accounts in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage • Strong Excel skills, including lookups and filters • A careful, numbers-first approach • Clear written English for query emails • Reliable broadband and a quiet home workspace • Familiarity with Dext or Hubdoc • Experience with multi-currency accounts • Month-end close exposure • Ability to work UK business hours (09:00–17:00 UK, 11:00–19:00 SAST)
