• Own the vision for product imagery and creative optimization across Amazon and other marketplaces. Develop sequencing frameworks that prioritize click-through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CVR) improvement. • Serve as the primary creative contact for client-facing projects. Lead onboarding meetings, strategy presentations, and design reviews. Translate data and insights into visually impactful recommendations. • Produce high-impact visuals personally while overseeing the work of one to two designers. Guide them in creating product imagery, A+ content, brand stores, and advertising visuals that align with strategy. • Use performance data and Voice of Customer feedback to continually improve imagery. Build and manage testing plans that link design decisions to measurable outcomes. • Plan, execute, and analyze A/B image tests to identify what drives engagement and conversion. Collaborate with the advertising and operations teams on cross-functional testing initiatives. • Develop and maintain creative strategy documents, including image sequencing plans, testing roadmaps, and creative audits for client brands. • Work closely with Marketing and Seller Operations Managers to align creative decisions with ad strategy, keyword focus, and product positioning. Coordinate ad hoc during product launches and monthly optimization cycles. • Establish design standards, creative SOPs, and feedback loops for consistent quality and efficient workflows.
• 5+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2–3 years in e-commerce and 1+ year in the Amazon ecosystem or similar. • Proven ability to connect creative strategy with data—understanding metrics such as CTR, CVR, and creative-driven sales lift. • Deep knowledge of how image order, content, and visual design affect click-through and conversion performance. • Proficiency adapting to and working within established brand guidelines while maintaining creative problem-solving to enhance product visibility and appeal. • Mobile-first design mindset with expertise in creating responsive, visually impactful content optimized for the growing segment of mobile shoppers. • Exceptional eye for detail, composition, typography, and color with the ability to create visually striking designs that also serve strategic business goals. • Experience managing designers and collaborating cross-functionally with marketers, copywriters, and operations teams. • Expertise in e-commerce visual storytelling, composition, and layout. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent design software. • Strong presentation and client communication skills. Able to clearly justify design decisions and guide non-designers through creative strategy. • Analytical, adaptable, and curious. Thrives in a fast-paced, startup-style environment where experimentation and collaboration drive results. • Must submit an e-commerce-focused portfolio demonstrating relevant experience. • Experience leading creative A/B testing, analyzing results, and refining assets based on insights. • Exceptional level of English with the ability to understand and communicate complex business topics.
