📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain RHEL servers (physical, virtual, and cloud-based) • Perform system administration tasks including patch management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting • Implement and manage security best practices, including user access, firewalls, SELinux, and vulnerability remediation • Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and scalability of Linux environments • Manage storage, backups, disaster recovery, and system recovery planning • Automate tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.) • Work with networking and security teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance • Support application teams with deployment, upgrades, and configuration • Document system configurations, policies, and procedures • Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24x7 support for critical systems when required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) • 3–5+ years of experience in Linux system administration, preferably RHEL • Strong knowledge of RHEL 7/8/9 administration and troubleshooting • Hands-on experience with automation/configuration tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) • Familiarity with virtualization (VMware, KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc.) • Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NFS, etc.) • RHCSA/RHCE certification strongly preferred • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
