📋 Description

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents for Division 8 scope requirements • Prepare accurate cost estimates for doors, frames, hardware, and locking systems • Perform quantity takeoffs and material calculations • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and product information • Analyze bid documents, addenda, and project revisions • Prepare and submit proposals and bid packages within deadlines • Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients regarding project requirements • Maintain organized estimating records and project documentation • Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions • Ensure estimates align with company standards, project specifications, and industry regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) highly preferred • Minimum of 2 years of estimating experience in construction, doors and hardware, or related industry • Knowledge of Division 8 products including doors, frames, hardware, and access control systems • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction specifications • Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and time management abilities • Strong communication and coordination skills • Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Experience working with commercial construction projects preferred
