âą Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. âą Answer incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries professionally and efficiently. âą Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other departments. âą Maintain accurate patient records and update healthcare systems. âą Assist patients with appointment-related questions and follow-up requests. âą Monitor provider schedules and ensure appointments are appropriately allocated. âą Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments where required. âą Verify patients' insurance eligibility and benefits. âą Obtain and process prior authorisations for medical services and treatments. âą Coordinate home healthcare services and specialist referrals as required. âą Work closely with case managers, clinicians, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of patient care. âą Ensure all patient information is captured accurately and maintained confidentially. âą Respond to emails and other patient communications in a timely manner. âą Support the day-to-day administrative operations of the healthcare team. âą Deliver a professional, compassionate, and patient-focused experience throughout every interaction.
âą Previous experience as a Healthcare Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrator, Patient Coordinator, or similar role. âą Experience working in a healthcare, medical, or social care setting. âą Fluent English with a clear, neutral accent. âą Excellent communication and customer service skills. âą Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail. âą Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care. âą Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorisations, and referrals is advantageous. âą Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare systems (EMR/EHR experience is beneficial). âą Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
