📋 Description

• Enter accurate patient/facility information from the facility system into billing software • Ensure billing information is complete and accurately captured • Reconcile facility software against billing software at the end of each week • Identify discrepancies and investigate mismatched information • Communicate primarily via email regarding billing queries and follow-ups • Monitor Medicare payments and review claims once payment has been posted • Work on denials and underpayments after Medicare payment is received, generally around 14 days after payment • Follow up on outstanding billing issues and ensure they are appropriately resolved • Maintain accurate records and documentation • Work independently to complete assigned billing and reconciliation tasks • Follow established billing processes and procedures • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive healthcare information

🎯 Requirements

• No prior medical billing experience is required; full training will be provided • Strong attention to detail • Excellent accuracy when working with data • Strong work ethic and reliability • Ability to remain focused while completing repetitive or detailed tasks • Good written communication skills, particularly via email • Ability to work independently with limited supervision • Good organisational and time-management skills • Willingness to learn new systems, software, and processes • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines • Basic computer literacy and confidence learning new technology • Experience or proficiency with billing software is required • Ability to work US Hours (9am-5pm EST) • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive healthcare information
