📋 Description

• Liaising with suppliers in China • Obtaining quotes for international products • Monitoring imports from purchase order placement to arrival at the factory • Preparing shipping marks for packages according to requirements • Coordination with Finance for foreign exchange (FX) settlement • Verifying import documents (invoice, packing list, HBL) with the customs broker • Requesting international freight quotes and checking freight invoices • Performing fiscal classification of items to be imported and preparing item descriptions for registration in the Import Declaration (DI) • Recording import invoices and issuing shipment invoices to customers • Calculating estimated landed cost and final cash settlement

🎯 Requirements

• Knowledge of taxes is a plus • Degree in, or currently studying, International Trade or a related field • Intermediate to advanced English for written communication
