• Own Rialtic’s month-end and year-end close calendar, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement in close efficiency. • Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls consistent with a high-growth SaaS environment. • Own revenue recognition and contract accounting policies under ASC 606. • Oversee the accounting, payable/receivable, payroll, and banking workstreams. • Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP or other applicable accounting standards. • Own the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting. • Collaborate with FP&A on variance and trend analysis to support decision-making. • Prepare and present ad hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and forecasts for/to management • Partner with finance leadership to develop budgets and monitor performance against them • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance and efficiency. • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff. • Assign work, review performance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. • Ensure proper training and adherence to internal policies and accounting standards. • Lead annual audit and tax filings, including preparation of audit schedules and coordination with external auditors. • Ensure ongoing compliance with tax, regulatory, and state nexus requirements. • Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes that support organizational growth. • Partner with the Engineering and Operations teams to automate accounting workflows and implement ERP enhancements. • Drive accounting system scalability in anticipation of company growth. • Evaluate and optimize accounting workflows for efficiency and scalability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades or automation initiatives.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA required. • Experience: 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or controller role. • Experience in a SaaS or healthcare services environment is strongly preferred. • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) and Excel. • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. • High attention to detail and integrity in financial stewardship.
