Our product earns a consistently perfect customer satisfaction score. Our insane ship velocity is great for high-growth AI companies, because our customers like Decagon, Windsurf, and Postscript need their financial stack to evolve as quickly as their products do. • This huge market is ours to take. But you do need to appreciate the value that our customer can create for their own company when we equip them with the perfect financial tools. Successful Rillets love powering the financial core of the world’s fastest-growing companies. • Who We Need: • We’re looking for a software engineering manager to lead one of the product feature teams at Rillet. You’ll join a growing engineering team and work closely with the CTO, product, and design to build industry-defining accounting and finance software. This role will report directly to the CTO. The role is remote first, with opportunities to travel for team events. • What You'll Do: • Help define Rillet’s long-term technical vision and strategic direction. • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and finance experts to shape the product, not just build it. • Own and drive multiple product initiatives from planning through execution. • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, reliable software. • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their growth and success. • Recruit, hire, and onboard new software engineers. • Contribute hands-on to Rillet’s codebase and technical development.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager in product-driven tech companies. • 5+ years in engineering. • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. • Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment. • Recent experience and proficiency in Kotlin, Java, or TypeScript. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices. • Passion for solving real user problems with practical, high-quality solutions. • A continuous learner who enjoys sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
