📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain APIs and backend services that support product functionality, scalability, and long-term reliability • Deliver features end to end by writing, testing, deploying, and monitoring code while applying strong observability practices • Work with core infrastructure components such as SQL databases, and leverage technologies like Kafka or Redis when useful • Collaborate with engineers across the team to refine existing systems and support the design of new features and solutions • Partner with senior engineers and tech leads to scope and understand project requirements • Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and pair programming to support team development • Apply industry best practices to improve performance, efficiency, and maintainability of applications • Work closely with Engineering, Product, and Data Science stakeholders to provide input on technical decisions and feature design • Contribute to evolving and upholding software engineering best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent background • Expertise in Ruby or Go (bonus points if you know both!) • Curiosity and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience writing clean, stable, maintainable production code
