• Maintain and support the day-to-day operations of the HRIS (Workday), ensuring data accuracy and integrity • Support team leadership in developing, supporting, and maintaining the Workday roadmap by analyzing system capabilities, identifying business needs, and recommending enhancements that align with Rocketship’s goals • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of system updates and enhancements in the HRIS, translating business requirements and priorities into scalable, efficient, and compliant system solutions • Develop presentations and engage with Rocketship senior leadership to gather input and advance our HRIS and talent systems strategy and implementation • Serve as the point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries, troubleshooting issues and liaising with vendors as needed • Generate reports and dashboards to support Talent Team and Rocketship initiatives, audits, and compliance requirements • Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to streamline organization processes through automation and improved system use • Ensure data privacy and security compliance in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements • Develop and provide training and documentation to HR staff and system users • Monitor and analyze trends in HRIS technology to recommend system enhancements
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field • 5-7+ years of recent, progressive experience in HRIS-related fields • Workday Pro HCM core certification • At least 3 years of experience with direct Workday configuration and administration • Proven experience leading Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Performance, Benefits, Integrations, and/or Advanced Reporting • Demonstrated success in leading system implementations, roadmap design, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives in Workday • Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and data governance best practices • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to design, troubleshoot, and optimize reports and dashboards • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity • Deep commitment to Rocketship’s mission and a willingness to go above and beyond to work together toward our shared goals
