📋 Description

• Serve as the functional reference for the design and evolution of the SAP FI connector • Support connector implementations for large enterprise clients • Map the source and destination of financial and tax data throughout the FI cycle, including MM and SD data • Specify what the connector captures from SAP and how calculation, credit, and settlement results must be recorded • Define the accounting treatment for new taxes, including accounts, posting keys, and automatic account determination • Design the impact on the payment cycle when tax collection is separated from supplier payment • Write detailed functional specifications for development • Lead workshops with clients’ finance, accounting, and IT teams • Support configuration, parameterization, and integration testing • Diagnose discrepancies through root cause and act as the functional escalation point during go-live • Feed field findings back into the product roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of FI and the FI-GL, FI-AP, and FI-AR financial cycles • Full accounts payable cycle experience, including the payment program (F110), payment methods, and bank files • Automatic account determination and MM-FI (OBYC) and SD-FI (VKOA) integration • Financial closing and account reconciliation • Understanding of how MM and SD feed into FI, even without configuration responsibility in these modules • Proven experience with ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA (on-premise or Private Cloud), covering at least two complete implementation cycles • Understanding of the S/4HANA extensibility model sufficient to assess what is feasible to request from the technical team • Experience with SAP integration projects involving external systems, including in a functional role • Ability to write executable functional specifications rather than generic requirement descriptions • Functional log analysis and debugging, without the need to write code • Availability for occasional travel to client sites • Preferred: SAP tax configuration (J1BTAX, TAXBRA, RVABRA, Nota Fiscal Writer, J_1B* tables) • Preferred: MM or SD experience, with hands-on experience in tax document flows • Preferred: Brazilian tax cycle (NF-e, NFS-e, CT-e, calculation, tax credits, and tax bookkeeping) • Preferred: Brazilian Tax Reform (IBS, CBS, Selective Tax, Split Payment, and SAP adjustment notes) • Preferred: ABAP experience at any level, from code reading to development • Preferred: Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) or GRC NFE • Preferred: SAP Business One, TOTVS Protheus, or Oracle • Preferred: Technical English for reading SAP Notes • Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Financials certification
