• Develop and implement content strategies that ensure our digital assets are easily discoverable and accurately interpreted by AI assistants and search engines. • Translate traditional SEO best practices into approaches that align with how large language models (LLMs) index and surface content. • Design and structure content to be AI-friendly, conversational, answer-focused, and semantically rich to improve visibility and relevance in AI-generated responses. • Stay current with how AI models retrieve and prioritize web content, and apply this knowledge to optimize our content for maximum reach and impact. • Own technical SEO health across Rolling Arrays. • Implement and validate structured data in Schema. • Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, hreflang where relevant, and indexing controls. • Be a guardian for content quality and AEO best practices, continually raising the bar for machine-readable, citation-worthy content and AI answer engine discoverability. • Perform prompt-based research and data analysis (e.g., benchmark testing across AI models) to make the case for projects and their prioritization. • Collaborate with the content team to maintain AEO best practices including structured data, schema markup, and content formatting that optimizes for AI retrieval. • Make Rolling Arrays a source that large language models cite. Optimize for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini. • Implement and maintain GEO fundamentals. • Track brand mentions and citations in AI answers, then close the gaps. • Conduct keyword research, identifying content gaps and optimizations. • Turn keyword and intent research into briefs that writers and designers can execute. • Optimize titles, metadata, headings, and internal links across both sites. • Map topic clusters and hub-and-spoke architecture for consulting and product content. • Own SEO, AEO, and GEO reporting: rankings, organic traffic, indexation, share of AI citations, and contribution to pipeline. • Baseline and report on what was protected and what grew.
• 4 or more years in SEO with clear evidence of hands-on technical work, not only strategy or reporting. • At least one real site migration you can walk through end to end, including how you protected rankings. • Strong command of technical SEO: crawl budget, indexation, structured data, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, internal linking, and information architecture. • Hands-on with the core toolset: Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one of Semrush or Ahrefs, plus Screaming Frog. • Working knowledge of HTML, JSON-LD schema, and how a modern CMS (Webflow or similar) is built and structured. • Strong grasp of AEO and GEO. You can explain how to get cited in an AI Overview and why that differs from ranking number one. • You can read a SERP, diagnose why a page is not ranking, and fix it. • Nice to have • Familiarity with SAP, SuccessFactors, or the broader HR technology space. • Comfort with Webflow CMS, light scripting • Log-file analysis and programmatic SEO experience.
