📋 Description
• Lead multiple teams within the First-Party Medical Unit in the claims organization • Establish processes to drive technical claim handling • Measure, evaluate and communicate individual and team performance results • Provide leadership across geographically dispersed teams
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required • 5+ years of successful experience leading employees who complete first party medical claim adjudication • Strong technical understanding of policy interpretation • Experience managing complex first party claims involving litigation • Ability to build collaborative working relationships • Familiarity with claims best practices required • Ability to obtain and maintain insurance licenses in several states within three months
