📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate multiple software development teams, ensuring alignment with the organization’s KPIs and strategic objectives • Provide close, ethical, and consistent leadership, fostering team autonomy, trust, development, and high performance • Conduct 1:1s, monitor performance and engagement, and support development plans, career growth, and mentoring initiatives • Monitor and help reduce the production failure rate by strengthening processes, quality assurance, reviews, testing, and risk management • Manage bugs, rework, and internal quality, promoting root cause analysis and continuous improvement across products and engineering • Anticipate and manage technical, scope, and capacity risks, using project metrics and historical data to support preventive decision-making • Lead tactical team planning, ensuring clear scope, prioritization, demand allocation, and alignment with delivery capacity • Track engineering, quality, productivity, predictability, and stability metrics, using data to inform decision-making • Drive the continuous evolution of processes, engineering practices, and the teams’ technical maturity

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in complex environments and critical systems • Strong systems thinking, connecting strategy, people, processes, and delivery • Mature leadership style, focused on people development, motivating specialists, and fostering autonomy • Data-driven approach with a focus on technical governance and measurable results • Strong technical foundation in software development and modern programming languages • Conceptual mastery of layered architecture, APIs, microservices, and system integration • Solid knowledge of architectural patterns, engineering principles, and software design best practices • Ability to assess and validate technical decisions without the need for micromanagement • Experience with distributed systems and highly scalable platforms • Experience working in complex production environments requiring high availability and stability • Experience managing incidents and making rapid decisions in high-criticality scenarios • Strong knowledge of unit, integration, and functional testing strategies • Knowledge of version control and code review processes • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and build/deployment automation • Familiarity with engineering metrics and indicators for quality, productivity, predictability, and failure rates • Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence • Experience with Git and collaboration platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket • Knowledge of system observability and monitoring tools • Experience creating dashboards for visualizing and analyzing operational metrics • Strategic analysis and productivity gains through artificial intelligence • Clear, assertive communication and strong negotiation skills • Ability to mediate conflicts and lead multidisciplinary teams constructively • Ability to manage requirements, scope, and deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously • Collaborative mindset focused on building high-performing teams
