📋 Description
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining applications, including web services and database components. • Performing application software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. • Scheduling installations and upgrades and maintaining them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures. • Monitoring and tuning the system to achieve optimum performance levels. • Developing and promoting standard operation procedures. • Carrying out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. • Assisting in the testing of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. • Documenting and working to resolve basic problems. • Interfacing with vendor support service groups when appropriate to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. • Reporting progress on problem resolution to management.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or PhD and 0 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge of advanced troubleshooting techniques and software design. • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel. • Ability to manage multiple priorities. • Ability to work well with others.
