• Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations and Quality • Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings and rapid response actions • Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations • Coordinate stakeholders to develop and implement supplier improvement plans • Monitor leading and lagging KPIs and evaluate containment exit criteria • Escalate persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams • Partner with Commodity Teams and SBUs on closed-loop feedback and transition to sustainable operations • Identify supplier sites and prioritize development based on risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs • Conduct supplier assessments using SRA, SHA, and Gemba • Engage suppliers through development roadmaps, training, and targeted maturity-model actions • Align with Commodity Managers and Engineering teams on supplier readiness for new programs or volume ramp-ups • Facilitate improvement plans, KPI tracking, and gate reviews • Monitor supplier maturity and initiate sustainment planning • Support long-term monitoring and supplier re-engagement cycles • Develop manufacturing process technology tools and standardization, including FMEA and Control Plans • Lead or support supplier transitions and smooth handover of work scope • Monitor supplier maturity post-transition • Align internal business units and suppliers on performance expectations and continuous improvement • Execute APQP for new product launches and work transition projects
• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Ability to travel to supplier sites as needed - minimum of 50% of time • Advanced proficiency in English • Led supplier recovery efforts, supplier transitions, and RCCA investigations for critical quality and delivery issues, driving corrective actions to closure • Managed cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean principles and tools • Managed supplier performance for engineered components and manufacturing processes, including castings, plastics, machining, mechanical fabrication, forgings, and electrical components • Presented supplier performance and recovery plans to customers, senior leadership, and supplier executives • Performance tracking using MS Office, LOB, WIP, Clear to Build, and milestone charts • Must be authorized to work in Mexico without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future • The company will not seek export authorization for this role
