📋 Description

• Analyze and make recommendations for the implementation of supplier qualification / certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes. • Manage supplier quality performance through prevention, monitoring/escalation processes, processing of supplier submission of nonconforming material. • Manage the analysis of quality data and development of part / supplier specific quality issue resolution and corrective actions. • Provide research and guidance for root cause analysis & problem solving (Red-X & 8D) in escape management procedures. • Develops corrective and / or preventive actions for systemic process and product design problems for product provided by suppliers. • Manage processes and procedures for supplier qualification / certification, source inspection and material release processes, and Correction Action Boards / DQ Clinics with suppliers. • Drive support for the UTC Supplier Gold program to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability. • Drive support for the RTX ZERO program to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability. • Review processes and metrics to ensure supplier is capable to meet all requirements for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance. • Able to react quickly to resolve issues and collaborate cross-functionally for results.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • 8+ years professional experience in a supply chain operations environment (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent. • Strong knowledge and expertise of Quality Regulations, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Root Cause/Corrective Action, Auditing/Assessing, Risk Management / Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma), Gemba walk, PFMEA, CP, MSA, problem solving methodologies is desirable. • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to speak effectively and easily with both internal and external executives and employees. • Ensure maturity and robustness of Supplier's manufacturing and supply chain processes to avoid supply chain disruptions. • Monitor and analyze performance through Key Performance Indicators and organizing the surveillance of the suppliers through audits, assessments, recovery plan and mission, CID (Corrective, Improvement, Development) and industrial risks management with internal and external concerned parties • Management of Escape Events, NoEs, SRIs, FAIs, LAIs & Deviations/Concessions analysis and recovery plans (with Suppliers) to ensure deliveries are to RTX requirements. • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, such as IPT leaders, Programs and Assembly Lines. This includes communication, customer / supplier relations & meetings, and improvement actions. • Must be able to travel up to 50% to supplier sites.
