📋 Description

• Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations and Quality • Coordinate improvement plans and communicate through plan review checkpoints • Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action (RRCA) investigations for critical quality or delivery issues • Escalate persistent issues to crisis mode or tiger teams when necessary • Monitor leading and lagging KPIs and evaluate containment exit criteria • Identify supplier sites and prioritize development efforts based on risk, impact, and strategic commodity needs • Conduct supplier assessments using the OCRA tool • Engage suppliers with development roadmaps, training, and targeted maturity-model actions • Facilitate improvement plan development, KPI tracking, and gate reviews • Align with Commodity Managers and Engineering teams on supplier readiness for new programs or volume ramp-ups • Monitor maturity progress and initiate sustainment planning • Support supplier transitions and monitor post-transition supplier maturity • Execute APQP for new product launch and work transition projects • Align internal business units and suppliers on performance expectations and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Casting and/or forging manufacturing experience • High energy level • Experience working with cross-functional personnel • High communication skills, including ability to develop a network of relationships with various Collins Aerospace business units • Strong work orientation and well organized • Ability to apply lean principles/tools to manage processes and enhance customer satisfaction • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access)
