📋 Description

• Provide legal counsel to management and internal stakeholders on healthcare law, regulatory compliance, and related matters, including Medicare, Medicaid, and other healthcare programs. • Conduct legal research and analysis of federal and state healthcare regulations, advising on developments that may impact SafeRide’s operations. • Draft, review, and negotiate a range of contracts, including vendor, partnership, and service agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws. • Advise on privacy and data protection matters, ensuring organizational practices comply with HIPAA and other applicable regulations. • Support litigation management, including coordination with outside counsel, insurers, and claim adjusters. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential legal risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies. • Assist in the development and maintenance of company policies to ensure compliance with evolving healthcare and corporate legal standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school • Active bar license in good standing • 3+ years of relevant legal experience • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare law and regulatory frameworks • Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and management • Familiarity with privacy laws and compliance requirements (HIPAA or similar) • Exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
