📋 Description

• Monthly accounting close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting in accordance with GAAP • Manage and reconcile monthly customer billing and payments • Analyze customer profitability • Perform GL account variance analyses, including research with other departments • Support billing process reconciliation between SafeRide’s front-end system and vendor payments • Prepare and maintain detailed balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers • Review balance sheet reconciliations and other close tasks performed by others • Assist in annual external financial audits • Assist in periodic state and health plan audits • Help maintain accounting policies and internal controls • Support ad hoc accounting projects and cross-functional initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) • Deep understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals • CPA designation (Preferred) • Experience with Sage Intacct and Quicksight (Preferred) • Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid billing and reconciliation (Preferred) • Strong data orientation and a growth mindset
