📋 Description

• Lead large and complex forensic equipment loss investigations with minimal oversight • Evaluate damage to industrial, commercial, and specialty equipment • Determine cause of loss, extent of damage, and repair or replacement scope • Schedule and conduct site inspections and field assessments • Review client provided records including invoices, budgets, schedules, and technical documentation • Perform financial analysis to develop damage estimates and restoration costs • Prepare clear, well supported expert reports for insurers, third party adjusters, attorneys, corporations, and private clients • Present expert opinions during client meetings, mediations, depositions, and legal proceedings • Maintain direct and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders • Mentor and support junior consultants through technical guidance, field support, and report review • Participate in peer review and quality control activities • Actively support business development through client outreach, industry events, and professional presentations • Coordinate with internal teams to meet project scope, schedule, and budget expectations • Maintain accurate job files, documentation, and records • Perform other duties consistent with a senior consulting role

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years relevant work experience • 5+ years in the forensic or equipment loss consulting field with demonstrated inspection and report experience • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required • Proven experience authoring defensible expert reports independently • Deposition and/or Testimony experience is preferred but not required • Professional or industry certifications or licensure preferred • Strong written and verbal communication skills
