📋 Description

• Collaborate with customers and partners during project cycles to share Salesforce platform and product-suite expertise • Develop solution visions and architect systems • Provide guidance throughout implementation • Act as a trusted advisor to technical and business stakeholders from developer level through mid-management and above • Support software delivery cycles based on agile methodologies and align closely with project management activities • Lead implementation and advisory engagements • Ensure scalable, standardized solutions that meet and exceed customer needs • Guide evaluation of business and technical requirements • Build relationships with key collaborators and team members • Act as lead architect for engagements, coordinating and aligning multiple architects • Align with project and engagement managers on planning and implementation with customers • Review and guide project vision, direction, implementation approach, and key artifacts • Direct early solution evaluation and proactively manage issues • Engage executives, account teams, engineering, and product management • Configure applications hands-on when required • Direct and mentor customers, partners, and colleagues in technical delivery and non-technical areas • Lead or contribute to internal initiatives, innovations, strategic brand building, and teammate skill development • Support pre-sales activities to position Salesforce Services when required • Participate in or lead volunteering activities

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on technical consulting and solution implementation experience for a major software domain (e.g. CRM, ERP, HR) • Coding experience in object-oriented languages • Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration • Experience guiding customers and project members in rationalizing and deploying emerging technology for business use cases • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team • Willingness to take ownership of problems • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and Salesforce Clouds • Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills • Availability to travel regionally depending on customer needs • Detailed understanding of Web Services, data modeling, and enterprise application integration concepts • Experience with enterprise integration tools, including ESBs and/or ETL tools • Knowledge of common integration design patterns with enterprise systems such as CMS, ERP, HRIS, and DWH/DM • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level, mid-level, and key decision makers • Preferred: experience as a Senior Architect and/or CTO in a mid- to large-sized organisation, with leadership driving organisational transformation in a matrixed organisation • Preferred: experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform, including coded solutions
