📋 Description

• Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot secure and scalable cloud-based systems and infrastructure to meet business needs • Migrate on-premises applications to the cloud and provide proven experience doing so • Develop cloud-based applications and implement infrastructure as code • Provide ongoing support and optimization for cloud environments • Implement automation and security best practices and manage secure transport technologies (IPSEC/VPN, BGP) • Collaborate with service providers for Army and DoD IT systems and work with cross-functional teams • Manage multiple large-scale projects and automate routine administrative tasks • Utilize CI/CD pipelines and code repository tools to support deployments • Ensure compliance with DoD STIGs and IAVM

🎯 Requirements

• High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience) • Clearance Required: Secret • CompTIA Security+ • DoD Secret Security Clearance • Mid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience • Security+ (Or equivalent IA cert) and computing environment certification (i.e. MCSD Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Understanding of network, storage, server, and application technologies • Strong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.) • Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as Git • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline experience such as Jenkins, Travis CI, AWS CodeDeploy • Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects • Experience automating routine administrative tasks desired • Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN, and other secure transport technologies as well as Border Gateway Protocol • Proven experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloud
