📋 Description

• Build, scale, and maintain high-throughput data platforms. • Manage event streaming ecosystems with strong emphasis on Kafka. • Improve platform observability with dashboards, metrics, logs, and alerts. • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability. • Build and manage cloud-native environments on AWS. • Use Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code to automate deployments. • Ensure security, monitoring, and operational excellence across the platform. • Work with internal microservices that publish/consume data. • Ensure smooth integration between services and the data platform. • Collaborate with backend teams to maintain consistent schemas and service-level reliability. • Build intuitive dashboards for data stories with tools like Grafana, CloudWatch or similar.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong foundation in distributed computing and system internals. • Hands-on experience with Kafka (partitioning, consumer groups, tuning, schema management). • Excellent command of Python, SQL, and Apache Spark. • Experience across relational, NoSQL, and graph database systems. • Solid knowledge of AWS services relevant to data engineering. • Good skills with Terraform and infrastructure automation. • Experience working in high-volume, real-time data environments. • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration systems (Nice-to-Have). • Experience with Graph Query language, like Cypher (Nice-to-Have). • Understanding of distributed storage engines and indexing concepts (Nice-to-Have).
