📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Design to define requirements, scope, and delivery timelines for SaaS features and platform improvements • Manage day-to-day operations of one or more software engineering teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery • Drive agile processes —including retrospectives and sprint planning—to maintain team velocity and focus • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and development metrics to measure progress and team impact • Partner with Customer Success and Support to triage and prioritize production issues and client feedback • Promote cross-functional communication and ensure engineering alignment with company priorities • Mentor, coach, and develop engineers at varying levels of experience to foster growth and autonomy • Collaborate with senior engineering leadership on architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy • Contribute to hiring efforts and help onboard new team members effectively • Maintain high standards of code quality, scalability, and performance and participate in technical reviews where appropriate • Encourage a culture of ownership, experimentation, and accountability across the team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience actively managing software engineering teams • Led multiple engineering teams with proven success in delivery and execution • Proven track record of leading teams in SaaS startup environments, from early-stage growth through scaling • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and modern web service design • Experience driving cross-functional collaboration between Product, Design, QA, and DevOps • History of delivering features that drive measurable business outcomes (e.g., user retention, performance improvements, reliability)
