📋 Description

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and on time • Process invoices in multiple currencies for domestic and international vendors • Partner with colleagues to process invoices and payments according to company policies and procedures • Support weekly payment runs and ensure vendors are paid on time • Respond to vendor inquiries through the company’s email management tool • Maintain accurate accounts payable vendor records • Reconcile account statements • Support monthly AP close, including soft-close process, AP aging reviews, and accrual preparation • Assist with the AP forecast • Prepare analyses, schedules, and presentations for audits and tax filings • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and systems • Document AP processes according to policies and internal controls • Perform and maintain AP SOX and operational controls • Report to the Accounts Payable Manager and support the procure-to-pay process • Partner with colleagues and vendors to resolve questions and improve AP processes

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of accounts payable experience • Knowledge of basic accounting principles • Ability to manage a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills and ability to partner with business stakeholders • Ability to identify and help resolve issues • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is preferred • Zendesk experience • SOX compliance experience • Legal right to work at Samsara and in the specified work location, if applicable
