📋 Description

‱ Develops and monitors appropriate indicators for risk management ‱ Oversees and coordinates the risk management processes of Sanford Health ‱ Oversees (or performs) the investigation of incidents/variances/or events of risk management involving patients, visitors, physicians or employees ‱ Assists in the development of internal and external educational opportunities for medical staff, allied health, clinical and non-clinical staff addressing current risk management, root cause analysis, disclosure, and safety ‱ Coordination and integration with other risk management and related functional services within the health system ‱ Assists in the development and maintaining of systems for the identification, control, prevention, and correction of potential and actual clinical and facility related risks ‱ Supervises the statistical trending and analysis of designated risk management data ‱ Develops and analyzes statistical and qualitative reports on risk management trends and patterns, and effectively communicates this information to the appropriate audiences

🎯 Requirements

‱ Bachelor's degree in nursing required ‱ Master's degree preferred ‱ Three years experience in hospital and/or clinic operations with experience in managing projects or developing programs is preferred ‱ Extensive knowledge of Risk Management and Patient Relations programs ‱ Currently holds an unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license with the State Board of Nursing ‱ American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) Barton Certificate is recommended.
