• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in Indirect Procurement, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry or experience in a regulated industry, ideally pharmaceuticals, with understanding of compliance and audit requirements. • Demonstrated experience working in a large multinational or matrixed organization, with the ability to influence without direct authority. • Strong category expertise in at least 2–3 of the following: Marketing Services, Professional Services, IT, Facilities, HR Services, Travel. • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and deliver measurable value through procurement initiatives. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English (mandatory) and Japanese (business-level or fluent). • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills. • Proficient in procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP) and analytics. • CIPS or other relevant procurement certification a plus. • Demonstrated success in implementing change and driving process improvements in procurement organizations.
