📋 Description
• Create and maintain 3D digital mock‑ups for primary and secondary aerostructure components from concept through production • Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings with integrated working instructions • Ensure designs meet Fit, Form, Function, Manufacturability, and applicable airworthiness regulations • Support stress, weights, and certification activities by providing accurate design definition • Provide continuous engineering support to manufacturing and in‑service operations • Design and integrate metallic and/or composite aerostructure components and assemblies • Manage product structure using CAD and PLM tools • Investigate complex design issues and develop effective technical solutions • Identify design risks and weight optimization opportunities • Review technical documentation and participate in design reviews • Act as a technical reference and support development of junior engineers
🎯 Requirements
• College or University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering • Minimum of 5 years of relevant aerostructure design experience for professional/senior profiles • Aerospace manufacturing industry experience (asset for junior, required for senior) • Knowledge of airworthiness certification requirements (asset) • Experience with systems installation integration is an asset
