📋 Description
• Ensuring timely collection of outstanding healthcare insurance receivables • Verifying patient eligibility and authorization for services • Conducting research and appropriately statuses unpaid or denied claims • Communicating with payers to secure payment of claims • Adhering to compliance with HIPAA and other laws
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma or GED • At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance accounts receivable follow up • Experience identifying billing errors and resubmitting claims • Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and procedures • Ability to navigate payer sites for appeals
