📋 Description

• Continuously track and evaluate security alerts and events generated by SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to identify potential threats. • Participate in conducting vulnerability scans and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses across infrastructure and applications. • Aid in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of security technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. • Assist in the investigation, analysis, and response to security incidents including data breaches and malware infections. • Support development and enforcement of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. • Help design and deliver security awareness training for employees and clients. • Collaborate with IT, network, and cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into operational processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. • 1-3 years of experience / Some experience in a Security Analyst or similar role. • Basic knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies. • Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanners. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar are a plus. • Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement. • Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
