📋 Description
• Perform detailed take-offs for commercial MEP systems • Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects • Review construction drawings and specifications • Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs • Ensure estimates are accurate and complete • Collaborate with project managers to prepare competitive bids • Identify project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates • Support timely bid preparation and submission • Assist in evaluating project opportunities • Utilize estimating software for estimating and take-offs • Maintain organized project documentation and estimating records
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of experience as an MEP Estimator • Experience estimating commercial construction projects • Experience preparing take-offs for plumbing and electrical systems • Experience reviewing construction drawings and specifications • Experience supporting competitive bid preparation • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing and electrical systems • Proficiency with PlanHub, BuildConnect, Bluebeam, and Stack • Strong estimating and quantity take-off skills • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to manage multiple estimating projects simultaneously.
