• Oversee factory-side operations from purchase order (PO) placement through production, quality control, and freight pickup • Manage and nurture factory relationships • Negotiate terms, MOQs, and pricing with suppliers • Ensure on-time PO confirmations and production timelines • Track raw material costs and currency exchange rates to time purchases optimally • Drive cost reduction strategies and optimize COGS while maintaining quality • Manage sample approvals and conduct quality checks; ensure order defect rate <1% • Provide weekly updates on PO status and monthly reports on lead times and QC results • Track supplier KPIs quarterly (on-time delivery, loading, cost, quality) • Deliver documented negotiation wins and maintain/improve unit economics
• Proven experience in production, sourcing, or supply chain management (preferably in e-commerce) • Fluency in Chinese and English • Strong negotiation and analytical skills • Ability to independently manage suppliers across regions • High attention to detail and accountability • Experience working with international factories in China or Southeast Asia (nice-to-have) • Familiarity with tools for order tracking, ERP, or supply chain analytics (nice-to-have) • Background in manufacturing for DTC or consumer goods brands (nice-to-have)
