📋 Description

• Perform geospatial processing activities using satellite imagery and software related to the collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of geospatial data. • Classify and analyze imagery for land use and land cover mapping, change detection, and thematic mapping. • Analyze, edit, and vectorize geographic data. • Use Geographic Information System (GIS) tools and company systems to analyze and process geospatial information. • Generate information for populating spatial databases. • Support the preparation of manuals and documentation for geospatial processes. • Perform related activities as directed by management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cartographic Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Surveying Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geospatial Technology, Geography, Biology, or a related field. • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). • Experience interpreting satellite imagery for land use and land cover classification. • Basic knowledge of vectorization using QGIS or ArcGIS. • Basic knowledge of cartography, remote sensing, and geospatial processing. • Knowledge of photo-interpretation fundamentals and image classification. • Basic knowledge of Brazilian biomes, including the vegetation types and socio-environmental dynamics of each. • Ability to handle recurring processes methodically, with precision and attention to detail. • Ability to work as part of a team. • Analytical thinking and commitment to continuous learning. • Adaptability and self-organization. • Proactivity and results-oriented mindset. • Affirmative action position for people with disabilities.
