📋 Description

• Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting • Oversee revenue, expenses, accruals, and general ledger activity • Manage and develop domestic and international accounting staff • Maintain GAAP compliance and internal controls • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports • Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts • Analyze variances, trends, and performance metrics • Monitor compliance calendars and regulatory requirements • Oversee AP, AR, billing, inventory, and revenue recognition • Evaluate and implement accounting systems and tools • Manage relationships with banks, vendors, and external partners • Document and improve accounting workflows and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or related field • CPA preferred • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience • Experience supporting startup and growth-stage companies • Background in outsourced accounting, advisory, or client services • Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously • Experience with CPG and inventory-based businesses (food and beverage preferred) • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition, COGS, and inventory costing • Understanding of accrual accounting and GAAP standards • Experience with trade spend and promotion accounting • Strong organizational and time management skills • High attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong problem-solving and project management abilities
