• You will strengthen our claims handling team in the area of motor vehicle liability — handling both property and personal injury claims • You will take full responsibility for processing your own cases • Act as the primary point of contact for all parties involved • Proactively settle claims to reduce claim expenses • Employ empathetic and confident negotiation skills when dealing with claimants, attorneys and other parties • Establish and monitor claim reserves • Review and enforce subrogation/recovery claims • Support legal proceedings • After a structured onboarding, you will quickly take over independent management of your cases
• Completed legal training, training as an insurance clerk (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience • Proven practical experience in claims handling at an insurer or a claims management firm • Enjoyment of independent work • Confident use of Microsoft Office and common everyday programs • Negotiation skills in dealings with various parties • Interest in helping shape the digital transformation of claims handling • English skills are beneficial
