• Review patients' complete medical charts to assess eligibility for surrogacy candidacy • Identify red flags or exclusionary criteria that would prevent a candidate from becoming a surrogate • Document and summarize clinical findings within HIPAA-compliant, secure software • Provide direction to the clinical/nurse team or collections team following each review • Collaborate with your manager to escalate or clarify complex or borderline cases • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy regulations
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in women's health — any of the following: OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, Prenatal, or NICU • Prior experience reviewing or working with medical records or patient charts (this is required, not optional) • Strong command of medical terminology and clinical documentation, including shorthand English proficiency at C1 level or above — charts are written in English and require precise interpretation • Ability to work independently, manage volume, and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations • Nice to Have • Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN credential • Experience in utilization review or case management • Background in reproductive medicine or fertility care • Prior experience working with U.S.-based healthcare organizations
