• Writing clear and detailed edit scripts that align with the original briefs. • Managing translated interview transcripts (in multiple languages) and footage from mobile journalists around the world. • Collaborating with editors, providing feedback to ensure the films meet the brief and the desired outcome. • Coordinating post-production schedules to ensure everything runs smoothly and deadlines are met. • Juggling multiple edits at the same time without compromising on quality. • Staying organised and working under tight deadlines. • Attention to detail is key!
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in film production, especially in post-production. • Familiarity with viral video formats and experience working on short films. • Strong experience in production management and scheduling. • The ability to multitask and stay on top of multiple projects. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. • Being based in or around Johannesburg, South Africa (preferred).
