đź“‹ Description

• The Power and Signal Distribution (PASD) PI Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of wiring harness assemblies and related components. • The Engineer will coordinate drawing creation in both 2D Capital XC and 3D CAD release in Teamcenter (NX) and validation of released components in the vehicle and component environments. • The engineer will support vehicle manufacturing/supplier facilities for entire life cycle, manage plant design issues along with change requests from both the plant and suppliers. • The engineer will manage large amounts of data/changes that must be incorporated into the current/future designs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university • 3 years of transportation wiring design and release experience or vehicle electrical system experience • 5 years of engineering experience • Excellent communication skills that include writing, creation and presentation of management level high quality presentation materials and reports • Proficient in MS Office suite of tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word • Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university (preferred) • Training in DFMEA DVP&R and DFSS development tools and processes (preferred) • Working knowledge of CAD systems (NX, Catia) (preferred) • Working knowledge of CAD systems (Capital XC) (preferred) • Experience in high volume manufacturing facilities along with knowledge of wiring manufacturing facility (preferred) • Familiarity with wiring harness drawings and specifications for automotive applications (preferred) • Web publishing and familiarity with SharePoint data management environments (preferred)
