📋 Description

• Responsible for the design, development, timing and production release of a system/component within Fuel Systems: filler pipes, fuel lines, tanks, canisters • Lead quality improvements, value optimization, weight reduction and other efficiency improvement initiatives • Communicate technical product status to management • Interact with suppliers and work closely with internal and external groups such as testing and prototype labs, CAE engineers, vehicle program team, supplier operations and manufacturing plants • Support prototype and production readiness activities and cross-functional collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering required (ABET accredited university or equivalent) • BSME preferred • 1-3 years of design/development automotive engineering experience in Fuel Systems and/or UREA (internship with Fuel Systems or UREA considered) • Self-starter with strong leadership, communication & organizational skills • Demonstrated problem solving ability • Formula SAE, Baja, or similar experience in college (beneficial) • Extensive automotive experience preferred • Product engineering experience preferred • Prototype experience preferred • Experience with DFMEA preferred • Experience with DVP&R preferred • Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) preferred • Belt certification preferred • Solid understanding of system/component design preferred • General understanding of NX, TeamCenter and CoDeP preferred
