• Develop and implement Discrete Event Simulation models using Plant Simulation to optimize automotive production processes. • Conduct bottleneck analysis and recommend strategies to enhance operational efficiency. • Determine buffer size requirements and assess the impact of different model derivative mixes on production flow. • Perform volume throughput increase studies and evaluate system what-if scenarios. • Ensure process adherence to vehicle derivative sequencing and build-to-sequence rules. • Optimize material flows and logistics, including: Onsite material movements (lineside deliveries, marketplace transfers). • Material movements between sites to improve supply chain efficiency. • AGV quantity estimation and identifying operational hotspots. • Racking studies to maximize space and efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data insights into clear recommendations.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive production or logistics environments. • Hands-on expertise with Witness Discrete Event Simulation toolset. • Strong Excel VBA skills for data analysis and model enhancement. • Experience in modelling assembly lines to improve efficiency. • Strong analytical skills with a focus on bottleneck analysis and process optimization. • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • A collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments.
