📋 Description
• The Value Optimization Engineer (VOE) is responsible for planning, validating, and implementing cost reduction ideas. • Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, vehicle integration, purchasing, quality, finance, etc. • Supports SR (System Responsible)/DR (Design Responsible) to summarize system/commodity level savings. • Generates and organizes ideas for system level proposals. • Partners with engineering and suppliers to schedule implementation of value optimization ideas. • Key to this position is an understanding of key product development principles and processes.
🎯 Requirements
• Needed: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical is preferred, Chemical can be evaluated) • 3 years of proven experience as part of an engineering team • Project management proven experience • English advanced. • Preferable: Experience in working with cross-functional teams, e.g. Purchasing, Quality, Suppliers, Manufacturing, Finance, etc. • Experience in cost savings • Excellent written and oral communication skills with attention to detail • Self-starter approach, high motivation, goal-oriented
