📋 Description

• Serve as a senior advisor to the General Counsel and executive leadership on legal, policy, and operational matters. • Oversee legal strategy for Sei’s cutting-edge incubations across DeFi, market structure, and real-world asset integrations. • Manage and mentor members of the legal team while scaling processes across multiple entities. • Lead engagements with regulators, industry bodies, and partners on emerging frameworks for digital asset innovation. • Oversee commercial, governance, and compliance matters with a focus on scalability and clarity. • Partner with business and product leads to enable compliant product launches and partnerships. • Maintain alignment between Sei Labs and Sei Development Foundation on key strategic initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership. • 8+ years of legal experience, including significant in-house or fintech/crypto exposure. • Strong working knowledge of securities, commodities, and payments law. • Experience in managing teams and working with cross-functional stakeholders. • Comfortable with ambiguity and deeply curious about the evolving digital asset landscape.
