📋 Description

• Build and operate our Databricks-based Data & AI platform in the Microsoft Azure cloud • Design and implement CI/CD processes (GitLab) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) • Take responsibility for platform performance, availability, security, and cost control • Evaluate new technologies and integrate suitable tools, frameworks, and services • Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and BI developers • Implement and operate scalable data pipelines (Python, SQL, Spark, Asset Bundles, etc.)

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, a natural science, or a related field • Several years of professional experience building and operating cloud-native platforms in the Data & AI domain • Long-standing passion for and experience with building and operating Data & AI platforms (especially Databricks) on a cloud provider (e.g., Azure, AWS) • Solid knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar) and CI/CD pipelines • Familiar with DevSecOps best practices • Extensive experience with Python, SQL, Spark, etc., with a clear focus on Data Engineering • Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
