📋 Description

• Ensure OSATs maintain effective Quality Management Systems, industry quality certifications, training in Semtech Quality Requirements, and compliance with requirements • Conduct QMS, manufacturing process, preventive, SCAR, and product audits; close gaps and non-compliances • Drive OSAT continuous improvement projects to prevent customer complaints and internal quality incidents and reduce defect rates • Prepare OSATs for Semtech end-customer audits and implement corrective or improvement actions • Share lessons learned and best practices across OSATs • Resolve supplier quality incidents and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions • Promote Lean, Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, MSA, FMEA, Control Plan, and SPC techniques • Provide OSAT quality and operational performance feedback through scorecards and meetings • Support non-conforming material disposition, process change reviews, customer information reviews, and supplier quality data reviews • Define process parameters and criteria with Engineering teams to ensure supplier process capability • Support new product launches and supplier readiness • Support corporate customer information requests, including OSAT environmental, health, and safety compliance • Report to the Supplier Quality Engineering Manager

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering or equivalent experience • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control in semiconductor manufacturing, assembly, and final test areas • Proficiency in quality analysis tools such as 8D, PPAP, and PFMEA • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to teach basic problem-solving techniques and facilitate problem-solving team events • Experience developing part certification processes and vendor quality measures • Familiarity with quality management systems and requirements, including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9000 • Solid communication and excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to lead Engineers and inspectors • Ability to formulate and maintain quality control objectives • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team environment
